I am Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen (KU) with a focus on public policy and comparative politics. My research examines the influence of interest groups, firms and expert actors on political decision-making in nation states and at European Union (EU) level.
In particular, I am interested in the effects of advocacy coalitions and other forms of active cooperation on lobbying success, as well as the relationship between lobbying and public opinion and the role of interest groups in representing different social and economic constituencies. With my research, I seek to help answer central questions of politics about ‘who gets what, when, how’ by placing emphasis on the strategies and power of non-state actors to shape political outcomes. In 2020, I started the InterCov project on Interest Representation during the Covid-19 pandemic.
